Bobbie Jean became interested in martial arts at 8 years old. She has experience in all types of martial arts including: Shotakan Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Bobbie Jean became a martial arts assistant instructor by the age of 14 and ever since then has kept her passion for teaching alive by teaching the kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes and traveling to help coach her students in competitions. Not only, does Bobbie Jean coach her students in competition, but actively competes herself. Bobbie Jean had her first Muay Thai fight at the age of 14, her first MMA fight by the age of 15, and countless other jiu-jitsu competitions and mma fights. Bobbie Jean received her Second degree blackbelt in American Shotokan Karate at the age of 15 and then focused her interests mostly on jiu-jitsu and MMA. She received her blue belt in jiu-jitsu by the age of 16. After 8 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Bobbie Jean received her purple belt at the age of 19 under coaches Alexandre Meadows and Joel Gingery. Bobbie Jean also has a wide base of knowledge for nutrition and fitness. All of her experience of teaching and training combined help her teach some very intense Fitness Kickboxing classes at Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu.

Bobbie Jean is currently in enrolled at Baptist College as a Nursing major. Her goal is to receive her BSN in Nursing and one day become a Pediatric Nurse.
