
Judo and Jiu-Jitsu are an excellent ways for kids to learn self-protection and self-defense, develop coordination and overcome self-confidence problems.
Students are paired up when possible with others of their size and ability to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. These classes aim to make Judo & Jiu-Jitsu fun and the drills and activities during the classes are free-form so that they do not become routine and boring.
A Judo/Jiu-Jitsu workout conditions the body both aerobically and anaerobically, builds strength and increases flexibility. The Judo & Jiu-Jitsu student learns: focus, goal setting, goal achieving, dealing with aggression without over reacting, rolls, falls, throws, pins, escapes, positional control, ground grappling and more. Best of all, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu provides an opportunity for fun, fellowship, thinking and exercising--all at the same time!
Please feel free to bring your child in for their first free lesson. Just arrive 10 minutes before the class time (5:35 PM), have them wear something comfortable, and bring a water bottle.
